The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information:
- Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)
- Declared medical information and participation consent
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
- At time of booking a Paddle West activity
- We use third party booking and payment systems that will provide us with data they collect
- You have been booked in with us via another body (e.g. school or other organisation)
- Contact you regarding your booking
- Provide our staff with essential information needed to safely run the activities
- To contact you with information and offers about our future services (where you have consented to this)
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored.
We keep your full disclosed information for 5 years (or up to the age of 22 if you are under 18 at the time of the activity) after your last participation in our activity. We will then dispose your information by deleting from our systems and destroying paper records.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
