The Best Value Activity In Pembrokeshire! The imposing 13th century castle stands on a rocky outcrop defended on three sides by the tidal Pembroke river. At the end of the 20th century a tidal barrage was constructed, maintaining the lake even at low tide. Come down and hire one of our beautiful rowing boats to see the castle from a very different perspective. Whether you want to see the huge walls from their base or just relax on the calm lake waters, come and take a boat out with us. Our boats take 4 adults as a rough guide to boat loading. Our staff have final say on the loading of the boats. Find us at the old boat house, beneath the castle walls in the South Quay car park, Pembroke, SA71 4NR.
